Meet Nichole “Nicki” Leonhardt, LMT
Long before Nichole “Nicki” became a massage therapist, she was already drawn to helping people. She spent 10 years working as a caregiver for people with cognitive and physical disabilities and found a lot of meaning in helping them work toward their individual goals. She was also the friend who was always giving massages, so when she began thinking about a new direction, massage therapy felt like a natural fit. Nicki earned her Associate of Applied Science in Massage Therapy from Rasmussen College in 2010. She has now been practicing for over 16 years and continues her education as part of maintaining her professional credentials.
No Two Sessions Are Exactly the Same
Nicki doesn’t believe massage should feel routine. Some clients come in with one specific area that needs attention, while others need a more general reset. She often works with areas such as the neck, shoulders, lower back, and hips, using techniques that may include Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and myofascial release.
Family, Dogs, and Life Outside Work
Nicki came to Stone Chiropractic after previously working in another chiropractic office, but she also has a family connection here: Dr. Lee and Dr. Heather are her brother and sister-in-law. When she’s not working, Nicki enjoys spending time with her husband and son. Their family likes inline skating together, and dogs are also a big part of life at home.
