Massage Services at Stone Chiropractic
Swedish Massage
Swedish massage uses techniques such as long strokes, kneading, friction, rhythmic tapping, and cross-fiber movements. Generally working with the more superficial muscles, this approach can encourage relaxation, circulation, and an overall sense of well-being while helping ease muscle tension and stiffness.
Deep Tissue Massage
Deep tissue massage uses slower strokes and deeper pressure to work with underlying layers of muscle and connective tissue. It may be appropriate for people who regularly experience muscular tension, participate in demanding physical activity, or are recovering from an injury.
Trigger Point Therapy
Trigger points are sensitive, irritated areas within muscle tissue that may be uncomfortable locally or refer discomfort elsewhere. Trigger point therapy uses concentrated pressure on these areas with the goal of helping tight muscles relax and reducing patterns of muscular tension.
Myofascial Release
Myofascial release works with the fascia, the connective tissue surrounding muscles and other structures. Techniques may include long stretching strokes, shear compression, and skin rolling to encourage mobility and range of motion.
Hot Stone Massage
Heated stones are used during Swedish and deeper massage techniques to help muscles relax and add warmth to the session. LMT Jennifer offers hot stone massage by request, so please let us know when scheduling if you’d like to include it.

What to Expect at Your First Session
Your first visit begins with a short medical intake form. If you take medications and don’t know them from memory, bringing a current list can make completing the form easier. Your therapist will briefly review the information with you before getting started and discuss what you’d like from your appointment.
There’s no special clothing you need to wear. You’ll undress only to your personal comfort level and remain appropriately draped during the massage.
Drinking water before and after your visit is also encouraged. If you have questions about the appointment, the techniques offered, or which session length may suit you, you’re welcome to contact our team before booking.
